Within the Finnish Indian Consortia for Research and Education (FICORE) program. Professor Cataldo De Blasio is leading a project called “Technological advancements in the areas of biomass thermal processing”.

We can offer funding for at least 6 months duration for hosting at Åbo Akademi University, (Faculty of Science and Engineering, Laboratory of Energy Technology) one or two students from the Indian Institute of Technology.
The candidate will work on projects in close collaboration with the researchers at our laboratory. The place of research is the Vaasa city in Finland (Akademill Building). The person will have a place to work in the building at our laboratory facilities.
We will finance:
Travel expenses (flights, trains, buses to come to Vaasa, Finland)Accommodation expenses Daily allowance
The daily allowance expense reimbursement consist of a fixed sum of 1050€ per month
Requirements
The candidate should be a student who has finished already or will finish his/her master’s degree in 2023. (In this way, the visit can be arranged immediately after the completion of the master’s studies).

Excellent grades are a plusMaster’s thesis (or background) in Energy –Related fieldsExcellent command of computer software. (Fluent, Aspen Plus, Matlab etc. )Excellent English and communication skills
