Early Help is any help for children, young people and families.
Sometimes families need help with emotional wellbeing, feeling sad or worried, getting angry easily, smoking or drinking, school bullying, or difficulty with relationships.
There is lots of different sorts of help you can get - many places can give information and advice to help families. This can be given face to face with you on your own with a worker or with other children/young people as part of a group. They may also help families find ways of working through problems.
There is early help available for parents, carers, children, young people, or whole families.
ALL Early Help is voluntary – which means that you do not have to agree to take the help if you don't want to. There is lots of early help in your area which may be at schools, youth clubs, sports clubs, health centres, children’s centres or other organisations.
